Some people ask why there is no demo account for Google Search Console like there is for Google Analytics. John Mueller said Daniel Waisberg and the team at Google Search Console have worked on it, but it’s “super difficult and requires constant maintenance”. That’s why they haven’t done it yet.
He added on Twitter that “you can’t just create fake sites and create useful data, and you can’t just take a site known to be bad because it won’t have any useful data”. So he said that while the idea of a demo account isn’t “gone forever”, it’s something that’s “not trivial” to set up.
So you know that Google Analytics has a demo account full of data from Google Merchandise Store and Flood-It. You can access the various demo accounts here. The Google Merchandise Store is an e-commerce site that sells Google-branded products. There are both Universal Analytics and Google Analytics 4 properties based on the e-commerce site. Flood it! is a simple but exciting strategic puzzle game in which you have to flood the entire game board with one color in fewer steps than allowed. The game is available for download on Android and iOS. There is a Google Analytics 4 property for Flood-It! containing game reports and data from the app and website.
