Google Page Experience Desktop Live Update, Search Console Errors, Growing Index, Interactive Local Map and Ads Suspended in Russia

This week in Research, I reported how the Google Page Experience update for desktop has fully rolled out. I’ve also published my monthly recap for Google webmasters, which you can all check out and catch up on. The Google Search Console URL Inspection Tool throws errors for some people. Google’s Alan Kent said merchants who attempt to fake Shopping Experience Dashboard metrics don’t worry, Google has ways to verify the metrics and will penalize merchants who try. IndexNow has grown with Duda integration and a few new SEO plugins, but the Yoast founder isn’t too optimistic about it. Google said it does not use disavow files to discover link networks. Google mentioned issues with translated content and garbage parameters in URLs. If you block users in the United States, you must also block Google. Don’t forget that there are no longer any eligibility requirements for showing up in the best stores. The Google Local Packs map is now an interactive map. Google shows how business details are confirmed in local listings. Google business profiles may require double verification. Google is testing a search bar filter in the upper right section. Google testing dropped estimated results. Google has an SEO workshop coming up with its in-house SEOs and the Search Central Unconference will take place later this month. Most people think that Google will remain dominant for the next ten years. Google has temporarily suspended the showing of all ads in Russia.
